About the Electrolysis Treatment

Before any treatment begins, Cathy will ask you what you are hoping to achieve, and complete a comprehensive assessment. It's essential to share with Cathy any medical conditions you have, and also any medication you take whether prescribed or not.

The assessment process will often include a short treatment session mainly so you can experience what it is like. This time is also used to establish the treatment mode and settings appropriate to you.

All electrolysis treatments are carried out using a computererised electrolysis machine as shown below.

For your peace of mind Cathy uses Sterex sterile disposable probes, for a professional and high standard treatment. These are always opened in your presence at the beginning of each treatment.

Additionally, all equipment used such as the tweezers are sterilized in an autoclave before use.

Cathy does ask for a deposit payment prior to treatment unless your treatment is being paid for by the NHS.
